At Long Last Twitter Unveils Self-Serve Ad Platform

Twitter’s much-awaited ad platform that was introduced in November is finally out. The self-serve ad platform enables electronic payment methods and allows advertisers to purchase advertising without even establishing a direct contact with a Twitter sales representative. At the time of writing, it is still in beta testing and only available to a limited number of advertisers. Twitter though promises to eventually roll out the service to more advertisers in the near future.
The self-serve ad platform is definitely a great opportunity for advertisers who would want to reach their target audiences effectively and this goes for both small and midsize businesses. Anyone who has a valid credit card would be able to avail of the service and enjoy the convenience of not having a face-to-face buying interaction. With Twitter’s 380 million users, there surely is a great potential and exposure for every brand that plans to advertise using the platform. Twitter indeed is doing a great job at improving and innovating on its social media platform.
